While briefly speaking with actor Joe Manganiello, ET has learned from Joe that Ben Affleck‘s The Batman will begin shooting this spring.
“Great, man, just getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring.”
Manganiello is playing Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke as first pointed out by us, likely to appear in Justice League and as reported by The Wrap becoming the big bad of The Batman.
A spring production would suggest the film could be ready for release in late 2018 or early 2019.
In other Batman news, Joe recently helped promote Anna Kendrick‘s campaign to play Robin in the film with an Instagram post.
