The Evil Seven Have Been Cast in Amazon’s ‘The Boys’

Today, Deadline is reporting that the main corrupt superhero team The Seven has officially been cast in Amazon Studios upcoming series The Boys. According to their sources Antony Starr (American Gothic), Dominique McElligott (The Last Tycoon), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), Jessie T. Usher (Survivor’s Remorse) and Nathan Mitchell (iZombie) have joined Erin Moriarty (Cast back in December) in the upcoming series.

The Boys is set in a world where superheroes embrace the darker side of their massive celebrity and fame. It revolves around a group of vigilantes known informally as “the boys,” who set out to take down corrupt superheroes with no more than blue-collar grit and a willingness to fight dirty.

Starr plays The Seven’s leader Homelander, With McElligott playing Queen Maeve, Usher will play A-Train, and Crawford will play The Deep. Mitchell is set to play a masked vigilante Black Noir.
