Talk of an X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover film has been around for several years. Every since fans have embraced the recent X-Men films starting with First Class, it seems now fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. While speaking with Empire Magazine the cast of the upcoming Fantastic Four film admit they don’t know of any future crossover but are begging screenwriter Simon Kinberg themselves at a shot. Kate Mara who plays Sue Storm in the film goes onto say:
“We are constantly kidding Simon on who we want to work with. Miles keeps saying his character (Reed Richards) is going to have a relation with freakin Jennifer Lawrence character (Mystique)! But I don’t know of any specific plans, I don;t know if they would trust us with that information.”
With FOX headed to Hall H net month ahead of the premiere for Fantastic Four it would make sense that they drop the announcement that a Fantastic Four/X-Men crossover movie will indeed be in the works soon.
