The very first DC Legion of Collectors box is here from DC Comics and Funko. Each box contains 100% exclusive premium collectibles, apparel, and accessories created by Funko and is shipped to your door bi-monthly. For only $25 plus Shipping & Handling, you’ll receive $50 worth of DC items.

THIS MONTH’S THEME:

March’s Box included:

  • Armored Batman POP #88
  • Superman/Aquaman 2-pack Dorbz
  • Batman/Superman #5 comic w/exclusive variant cover
  • Batman vs. Superman Shirt
  • Wonder Woman Patch
  • Superman Pin

The Armored Batman POP was revealed since day one of the announcement. This POP is an exclusive for the Legion Collector’s Box and looks amazing.

The Superman & Aquaman 2-pack Dorbz figures are, of course, adorable. The Superman Dorb included is green, I’m assuming to represent the color of Kryptonite, meanwhile Aquaman is a shade of Blue. You can also view the original colors on Amazon. I’ve noticed that Funko drawing more attention towards these figures lately, and I admit they are really growing on me.

The Comic Book featured is of Batman/ Superman #5. This is an exclusive variant cover, only for subscribers of  Legion of Collectors.

The shirt is my favorite item included in this month’s box. They were all great items but I really dig the lucha libre style design for the shirt. All the text featured is in Spanish. The shirt says “El Hombre de la noche” under Batman, which means The Dark Knight. Under Superman, it says, “El Hombre de acero” which means Man of Steel.

Like the Star Wars Smuggler’s Bounty Box and Marvel’s Collector Corps boxes, this one includes a patch and pin. The patch features Wonder Woman’s classic logo with very vibrant colors and the Pin features Superman’s face in black and white.

This is a great start to the DC Legion of Collectors. I was satisfied with everything included in this month’s box. Next box will ship in May and will include items from DC’s television series. Funko, give me a Zoom or Red Krytonite Supergirl (black outfit) Pop please.
