Coming on the heels of the highly rated 4-Part Crossover event Invasion, the next team up we will be seeing from the DC Comics Television Universe on the CW is the much-anticipated musical crossover featuring Supergirl and The Flash.

Executive Producer Greg Berlanti spoke earlier today following the Riverdale panel at the CW’s Television Critics Association winter preview. He confirmed that the villain in the special episode will be the Music Meister.

Berlanti states that the script for the episode has been completed, but there is no news on who will be cast as the villain. Music Meister was introduced on Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He was bullied as a child for being in the choir until he found out that he had mind control powers. His singing schemes have controlled both heroes and villains alike, forcing them to steal for him.

He was originally voiced by Broadway star Neil Patrick Harris. Harris, currently starring as Count Olaf on Netflix‘s Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, has been asked whether or not he will be returning to the role. The actor states that he hasn’t gotten any information as yet, but anything is possible.
