‘The Incredibles 2’ Will Hit Theaters an Entire Year Earlier

Today, Pixar (via Variety) announced that two films have switched release dates on their upcoming film slate. The followup to 2004’s The Incredibles will move from June 21st, 2019 up an entire year to June 15th, 2018. The anticipated sequel will end up switching spots with Toy Story 4 which consequently been pushed back an entire year to June 21st, 2019.

Brad Bird (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) will be returning to direct The Incredibles 2. Not much is known on the film but it’s expected that the Parr family will be much older now then when they were in the original film. To Hanks and Tim Allen are expected to return to voice Woody and Buzz in Toy Story 4.
