Last it was revealed that the directing duo of Phil Lord and Chris Miller was being courted to possibly direct The Flash starring Ezra Miller. This was of course met with great praise by many fans who have wanted the duo to direct a DC Cinematic Universe film since 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie both smashed box office records. Now Deadline is reporting that the directing duo has indeed signed onto at least pen the script for The Flash. This is of course means they could still also direct the film but Sony is also courting the duo to direct a all-male Ghostbusters reboot in the came universe as Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot. It’s unknown which studio gig the pair will direct but with their Lego Universe kicking off at WB it’s not hard for them to stay on and direct The Flash also.
