‘The Predator’ Production Will Take Place On February 20th Until May 15th

Nov 6, 2016

The Predator is gearing-up for it’s winter and spring shoot in Vancouver as Logan‘s Boyd Holbrook has been confirmed for the male lead. Boyd is replaced former frontrunner Benicio Del Toro, due to a scheduling conflict with Soldado.

X-Men: Apocalypse‘s Olivia Munn is reportedly in talks with Fox to play a scientist helping Boyd’s special forces character, who is most likely Quinn McKenna.

While the rest of the film’s roles are being filled, there’s an update concerning the production side of things.

We’ve learned the new production dates for the film, after casting pushed it’s original production start from October to February.

Vancouver production site What’s Filming? has posted the updated production start and end dates for Shane Black’s The Predator. The production begins on February 20th and ends on May 15th.

Although, YVRShoots says it starts a little earlier on February 15th.

The Predator is set for release on February 9th, 2018.

I hope to see some predators breakdancing in set footage or I’ll be extremely disappointed Mr. Black.

In the meantime, here are some excellent “making of” specials for the first two Predator films, where Shane Black talks a little about he originally got involved with the first film.
