Resident real-world journalist Jonathan Reyes, GWW television SME Sarah Belmont, and yours truly, sat down a couple of weeks ago to list our top 5 films of the year so far. Jonathan thought that it was important for our little adjunct SNN crew to sit down and have this talk now that the summer of blockbusters is over, but before we got so far removed from the warm months that our rankings would be addled by time, distance, and alcohol.

After we cover our top five, we also speculate on the movies awaiting release in Q4 of 2015 and which ones might disrupt this ranking. And just in case you want burn the memory of our lists into your mind (so that you can throw it in our faces later), the link to the Google Doc when it was all said and done is right here.

In many ways, this show will serve as the first episode to our new show, 2 Guys, a Girl, and a Scene (sometimes abbreviated as 2G1G1S), starring the same cast of nefarious characters in a blended format covering 3 topical shows per month: a top 5 list of…well…something different each month, an Issues episode where we discuss any controversial topics that came out of the Top 5 show, and then a Viewing Room episode. That last show will cover what we’ve been watching, but specifically will cover one movie we’ve all watched together, and at least one scene breakdown from either that movie or something else we’ve all seen.

So giddyap! And stay tuned for the launch of 2G1G1S, coming at you within the week!

Gadgets, games, comics, movies, TV...all the things. In that order? Well, that changes as often as the weather. Agasicles is the quintessential nerd's nerd, with far too much content made available in today's world for him to stay focused on any one thing. Android? yep. iOS? Yep. PS4? XBox One? Marvel? DC? Yep, yep, yep...and...yep. He's been all over the world, but prefers nights at home with his favorite gadget or content. A Cold War kid and refugee from the 80s and 90s, Agasicles sometimes doesn't get all this new-fangled stuff that the kids are into these days. But he's trying his hardest.
