Today, the guys over at Comicbook.com has learned that NBC’s This Is Us young star Faithe Herman has joined the cast of DC Comics upcoming film Shazam! While they admit they couldn’t confirm the actresses role they speculate that she matches the character description of Darla Dudley.
Darla is a young African-American girl in Billy Batson’s group home that the young hero befriends along with Jack Grazer as Freddy Freeman; Ian Chen as Eugene Choi; Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña. Zachary Levi will play the adult hero Shazam himself.
Shazam begins filming this February; Hits April 2019
