Tim Burton’s ‘Dumbo’ Begins Filming This April; Danny DeVito & Eva Green Enter Talks To Star

Tim Burton’s live-action take on the classic Dumbo story is starting to take off. Yesterday it was revealed that Penny Dreadful and 300 star Eva Green has entered talks to join the cast as a french trapeze artist. However, she only just began talks and has yet to sign on. Variety goes on to reveal that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Danny DeVito has indeed signed on to play the circus ringmaster in the upcoming adaptation. Will Smith and Chris Pine was once rumored to star but both passed on the project. The studio is still looking for the films antagonist as the circus owner.

In other news, we at Omega Underground have learned thanks to My Entertainment World that the upcoming Dumbo film will begin filming this April in the United Kingdom.
