Tim Miller’s ‘Terminator’ Soft-Reboot Begins Filming This March In Hungary and Spain

Deadpool’s Tim Miller is set to direct his soft-reboot to the Terminator franchise with James Cameron‘s creative input as producer. The film will retcon the previous Terminator sequels and act as a direct continuation from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. It’s current cast members include Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Omega Underground has spotted a new production listing for the film which reaffirms talk that from Arnold that shooting will begin in March. Also, we’ve now learned that Budapest, Hungary, and Spain will be where the film will shoot.

An interesting crew hiring includes Prometheus production designer Sonja Klaus.

The new Terminator film is said to launch a possible new trilogy and has been set for release on July 26th, 2019.
