TNT Passes on DC Comics ‘Titans’ Live-Action Series

Jan 7, 2016

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that TNT has passed on DC Comics upcoming live-action Titans series. This isn’t much of a surprise considering we have heard next to nothing on the project after it’s initial announcement early last year. Batman Forever scribe Akiva Goldsman was suppose to showrun the project as well. However he was also hired to be the creative force on all upcoming Transformers films. Helping find and collaborate with screenwriters on the sequels and spin-off films. The series however would have followed Dick Grayson step out of the shadows of Batman and become Nightwing. He would also form a new team of young heroes.

Fret not however there was a recent rumor that DC Comics might consider switching out the announced Cyborg movie starring Ray Fisher for a live-action Teen Titans movie instead. But that is only speculation at this point…Others think that The CW might pick up the TV Project but it’s hard to imagine the network adding another DC property to their slate.
