On the heels of news of Jared Leto getting his own Joker movie, we have some promising production news about Todd Phillips’ competing Joker film which has Joaquin Phoenix attached in the titular role.
Hollywood Reporter says that Warner Bros. has set the budget around $55 million and are eyeing a shoot in the fall. No locations we’re mentioned.
A release date has yet to be announced but we suspect that the studio will make an official slate reveal at San Diego Comic-Con next month.
