While it’s been quiet concerning Tom Cruise’s Top Gun sequel Top Gun: Maverick, we have a crew update to share.
Omega Underground has learned that Paramount has hired Zero Dark Thirty and Detroit production designer Jeremy Hindle. He has an excellent eye for military bases and sets, so we are beyond thrilled to see him involved.
Filming was expected to begin this July as Tom Cruise had opted to make the Top Gun sequel his 2018 production. However, we are still without production dates and locations, once we get those we will update.
Joseph Kosinski is set to direct with a release date slated for July 12th, 2019.
