Lucasfilm has release the first trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it looks bananas.
Taking more of an espionage angle rather than usual hero’s journey the main saga films take, it’ll be quite the experiment to see how these anthology films can differ themselves from the other installments. I think it’ll be curious if Lucasfilm will even attempt to make direct sequels to these anthology films and if we could be seeing Han Solo and these characters eventually cross paths.
Rogue One is set for release on December 16th, 2016.
