You think 2016 was a crazy year? Well wait until Fast 8 or The Fate of the Furious as its (unfortunately) been titled hits screens worldwide next year.
It’s bad enough that Optimus Prime looks to be the bad guy in the new Transformers: The Last Knight, but that’s now been topped by the next instalment of the Fast and the Furious franchise for it craziness, and no I’m not talking about the physics behind some of the stunts. They’ve gone and made Mr Familia himself Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) the baddie alongside newcomer Cypher (Charlize Theron).

Crazy right? What the hell is going on here?
Star Vin Diesel said that the twist was inevitable chapter (eh no it wasn’t). Addressing fans on his Facebook Diesel said:
“We’ve been talking about family for so many pictures, and it was inevitable that there would be a chapter that would challenge that concept of family. The dark place that Dom goes to … well, I guess you’ll just have to see the movie.”
He did say the twist would make sense when we see the film. Surely Dom is being blackmailed, or he’s a clone or something bat shit crazy along those lines. Either way I’ll be there opening night to see what the hell is going on.
The Fate of the Furious Synopsis: Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.
