A new sheriff of a small town along the U.S. & Mexico border investigates a drug cartel deal that went horribly wrong. When a shipment of guns and ammo meant to be smuggled into Mexico falls into the lap of the sheriff department, a cartel fixer is sent to the small town to get answers leaving a bloody trail behind him.
The film seems to follow the recent trend of westerns told in a modern setting, which we’ve seen with Cop Car, Sicario, and Hell or High Water.
It will be going head-to-head with Rogue One on December 16th, 2016 and could be excellent secondary option for the holiday season.
