The second half of the second season of Supergirl promises to amp up the action if the first trailer is to be believed. The CW has released a promo for the first episode of the rest of the second season.

The first episode is directed by Kevin Smith and is titled “Supergirl Lives”. It shows James Olson suited up as Guardian, taking to the streets. We also see the return of Roulette and Quinn going on a mission in the field on what looks like an alien spacecraft. We also see what looks like an injured Kara on a planet with a red sun.
Supergirl returns January 23, 2017.
