We previously discovered a possible April production start at Pinewood UK for Colin Trevorrow‘s Star Wars: Episode 9, as revealed by casting-call site Project Casting a couple weeks ago.
Now, a second production source is supporting this April start date for Episode 9.
It’ll be interesting to see how Lucasfilm manages this second film with Han Solo also starting production in February. Then again, Marvel Studios is juggling Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther both shooting at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta starting next month.
It’s not impossible for the standalone and main saga film to share some studio space for a period of time.
Project Casting previously claimed a possible May 23rd, 2019 release date for Star Wars: Episode 9.
