UPDATE: ‘Bloodshot’ Movie Now Eyeing Summer Shoot In Prague

Apr 11, 2018

It was recently confirmed by Deadline that Vin Diesel would indeed be playing the titular Bloodshot in the Sony adaptation of the comic book series.

There is now word of where the studio has possibly settled on for a production locale (previously looking at filming in Budapest and Capetown) which we’ve learned is most likely going to be Prague, Czech Republic.

Diesel is no stranger to the city as he shot the original xXx there.

Hollywood has seemingly doubled-down on European locations as they provide extensive tax breaks and extremely talented local crews. Sony is also expected to film scenes for the upcoming Spider-Man sequel in various European locales as well which includes Prague.

Previous productions shot in Prague include Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Casino Royale, The Bourne Identity, Blade 2 and Hellboy.

Dave Wilson will be making his feature film debut with Bloodshot and filming is reportedly said to begin sometime this July. We suspect it could wrap by November-December.

Sony has yet to give the comic book film a release date.
