UPDATE: February Production Start Expected For ‘Guardians of The Galaxy 3’

Mar 15, 2018

Recently, Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealed to EntertainmentWeekly that Guardians of The Galaxy 3 will be one of the priority projects post-Avengers: Infinity War. Writer-director James Gunn had been teasing a 2020 release date, this suggesting a 2019 production start.

Our friends over at ThatHashtagShow previously said that Guardians 3 was eyeing an early 2019 start.

Well, Omega Underground can back this up as we’ve learned it’s tentative start month will be February and as mentioned will shoot at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

Wrapping around June-July sounds about right considering the February start.

However, this early out it doesn’t have production dates.

Not much is known about the film but there is an assumption that we’ll finally see Adam Warlock debut in the MCU and Elizabeth Delbecki‘s Ayesha could be a baddie.

Star Wars icon Mark Hamill recently made it public he is interested in a role for Guardians 3 but we’ll see if that pans out.

While Marvel Studios hasn’t officially given the film a release date we assume it will drop on May 1st, 2020.
