Last year, we reported that Sony was aiming to film their Crow reboot in Budapest, Hungary.

They are looking to film at a second overseas location.

Omega Underground has learned the Crow production is hoping to shoot scenes in undisclosed locations in Ireland/Northern Ireland.

Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones) is set to play Eric Draven, a murdered aspiring rock musician who returns from the dead to get revenge for his death and the death of his love Shelly.

It’s possible Momoa’s love for the country and Guinness could be a reason for the locale.

Director Corin Hardy seemingly assembled a crew last year with cinematographer Martijn van Broekhuizen (The Hallow), production designer Alex Cameron (The Hallow), and VFX supervisor Raymond Gieringer (Drag Me To Hell, Immortals).

The Crow had originally planned on filming this winter/spring but it looks like filming could begin sometime in the summer/fall. However, it’s currently without updated production dates.

Sony has given The Crow a release date of October 11th, 2019.
