Version of Cheetah That Kristen Wiig Is Playing In ‘Wonder Woman 2’

Mar 31, 2018

Wonder Woman 2 is one of the most anticipated comic book films looking to begin filming soon but details are minimal at the moment.

We’ve picked up on a small tidbit about the film’s villain.

Omega Underground has learned possible plot details from a source concerning how Kristen Wiig‘s Cheetah could factor into the sequel’s plot and which version of the villain we’ll be seeing. Also, it looks like we’ll be visiting Uzkartagan, which has been assumed by fans.

Dr. Barbara Ann Minvera (Wiig), a British archeologist uncovers the lost city of Uzkartagan and when stumbling upon an ancient ritual becomes the host of the Cheetah god.

UPDATE: This supports the previous reporting by ThatHashtagShow that named Minvera when they broke that Cheetah would be the villain.

There’s a good chance that Barbara is a colleague as Diana has her own interest in antiquities.

How the Soviet Union antagonists and American elements factor in here has yet to be revealed.

We’re speculating on this next one, but this could mean that one the characters Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Narcos) might actually be playing is a version of a warlord named Andres Caduldo that is devoted to Uzkartagan and could be tied to this ritual that leads to Cheetah.

Filming will take place on May 28th in the United Kingdom, Virginia, and The District of Columbia.

Warner Bros. has set the release date for November 1st, 2019.
