WB Sets Two 2020 Release Dates For Untitled DC Comics Movies

Warner Bros. (via TrackingBoard) have announced two 2020 release dates for untitled DC projects. These mystery dates include February 14th, 2020 and June 5th, 2020.

The problem becomes that with the studio consistently announcing new plans for a new project every month it’s hard to pin-point what exactly these movies could be.

However, the prime suspects concerning where development is other projects I’m guessing that Green Lantern Corps. (extensive post-production needed), Man of Steel 2 (doesn’t have a script or director), and Wonder Woman 2 (without a script rumored to be announced at Comic-Con) are good bets to make. Since the they are more likely going to be shooting late 2018 and sometime in 2019.

Other possibilities include The FlashBatgirl and Nightwing.

Nuttier people are assuming that films expected to shoot in 2018 will be given these dates, but movies like The Batman (eyeing 2018 shoot), Shazam! (rumored for a February start), Suicide Squad 2 (eyeing 2018 shoot), and possibly Gotham City Sirens aren’t going to be delayed for two years. These are more likely going to be spread-out throughout a 2019 slate.

You’d hope that Warner Bros. would clarify their plans at San Diego Comic-Con, but studios have been a little too covert with their future plans recently keeping fans in the dark, as not to create PR issues when something doesn’t come together on time.
