Shadow Warrior 3 is an action packed adventure developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital and that will keep you “just overwhelmed enough”.
Shadow Warrior 3 is one of the most well-balanced games I’ve played, making you feel panicked but never to the point that you want to quit.
One of the unique aspects of the game is the ability to take your enemy’s weapon after performing a finisher on them.
As well as the health and ammo pickup system. When you shoot someone, you get health. When you slash someone they drop ammo. It’s simple but it’s nice.
The game clearly takes pride in its dismemberment system, and it looks fantastic. Bullets fly with real meaning, ripping enemies apart one appendage at a time.
Shadow Warrior 3 has fantastic gameplay, great visuals and a fresh take on FPS gaming
The story of the game is lacking and the replayability is limited. Fix those and it’s an easy 10 but until then I’m putting it at an 8/10
