We asked.

Once fans saw that end credit scene in the first Sonic movie they were going crazy wondering if and when we would get Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Well now we know.

When will we get it?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is set to be released April 8, 2022 in the US and will be released to Paramount+ 45 days after the theatrical release.

What is it about?

In the aftermath of the first film Sonic has tried to become a true hero. And his first real test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns with his new ally Knuckles.

Who are the producers?

Sonic 2 is directed by Jeff Fowler and produced by Toby Ascher, Haruki Satomi, Hajime Satomi, Neal H. Moritz, Hitoshi Okuno and Toru Nakahara.
