Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #1 tumbles into more trouble and our hearts in this 5 issue miniseries from Marvel Entertainment

By Heather E. Houston

This teenage hero must come face to face and fight her worse fear to save her timeline and the entire multiverse - herselves.

By: Marvel Entertainment Written by: Tim Seeley Art by: Jodi Nishijima Colorist: Federico Blee Letterer: VC’s Ariana Maher Cover: David Nakayama Release Date: March 9, 2022

Her dad doesn’t understand and her friends are more frenemies. Such can be the life of a 16-year-old girl.

Gwen Stacy is still reeling from the events of Edge of Spiderverse:  Spider-Gwen and the changed circumstances of her crimefighting career as  Spider-Woman.

Tim Seeley (Heroes Reborn: Marvel Double Action) is able to capture  Gwen’s teenage angst beautifully without making her seem whiny.

With Spider-Gwen and Thor-Gwen working together in issue #2, there is no limit to where the story can take us.
