60 Years

It's been 60 years since Spider-Man was created by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee. And what started off as a filler story has grown into a billion-dollar enterprise. 

The Big Screen

Spider-Man has been the star of multiple films and was even adapted for the Japanese market in a superhero show known as Supaidā-Man.

First portrayed by Nicholas Hammond in 1977. Since then, three different actors, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, have donned the spider-suit and fought villains on the big screen.

Constant Evolution

The evolution of Spider-Man has lead to  multiple spin off shows and films. But how much has Spider-Man really changed in the past 60 years? Lets find out!

Spider-Man 1

The film takes place in modern day New York,  with Tobey Maguire as Peter. After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider Peter must don the suit to defeat the evil Green Goblin.

Spider-man 2

The 2nd installment is known as one of the greatest Superhero films. In this movie, Peter is trying to balance his private life and his duties as Spider-Man as he clashes with Doc Ock 

Spider-Man 3

The last installment to the trilogy. Spider-Man has to contend with three new villains. And, his relationship with MJ begins to strain, in part because of the alien goo that affixed itself to his suit.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield comes diving head-first into Peters personal history as he investigates the conspiracy surrounding his father’s death.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man is back with the rise of two new villains, Electro, and Harry Osborn. Upon discovering Spider-Man's identity, Osborn drops Gwen Stacy through a clock tower.

Spider-Man Homecoming

Tom Holland became Spider-Man in 2017, with Peter working as an intern for Tony Stark. Impatient for the chance to prove himself, he strikes out on his own to tackle bad guys.

Spider-Man Far From Home

Peter travels to Europe on a school trip. His trip is cut short when Nick Fury shows up and asks him to fight creatures known as Elementals, alongside a new hero, Mysterio.

Spider-Man No Way Home

Spider-Man No Way Home sees Peter’s identity revealed to the world by Mysterio. Desperate, Peter turns to Dr. Strange. 

who casts a spell intended to erase everyone's mind. However, the spell goes wrong and ends up bringing 3 generations of Spider-Men to help Peter defeat all of their villains
