The Mummy 4 has started filming, reuniting Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz as Rick and Evelyn for another adventure after many years away together again.

Brendan Fraser confirmed filming began September 7, 2026, and says he prepared physically to return as Rick O'Connell while trusting the stunt team again fully.

Rachel Weisz returns as Evelyn O'Connell, bringing the original lead pair back together as the sequel reconnects with the first two Mummy films again onscreen.

John Hannah and Oded Fehr are reported to return, while Kevin J. O'Connor and Arnold Vosloo are also linked to familiar roles in the sequel.

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are leading the sequel, with Gillett teasing an adventure that mixes scary moments, comedy, action, and large scale spectacle.
