Badass Digest has just revealed that 16-year-old Weeds star Mateus Ward has already auditioned for the role of Marvel’s Spider-Man in preparation for a Captain America: Civil War cameo. Now while he may have auditioned doesn’t mean he will get the role. This bit of news basically just reveals we should be getting some kind of announcement in the coming months maybe even before San Diego Comic-Con if they want to film his scenes for Civil War. The audition was so secret though that it was at done at a friend’s house and not a casting department. The role is expected to be for a younger actor so he can play the character hopefully for the next decade. Fan-favorites for the role however are Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brein as well as Perks of Being a Wallflower star Logan Lerman. Both being rumored to be at the top of Marvel’s wish list.
