Whovians rejoice around the Internet. Titan announces Dan Slott and Christopher Jones working on a new Doctor Who issue complete with cover art. They tease “an epic story that sees companion Martha Jones captured by the insatiable Pyromeths, and her only hope for survival is to keep them distracted with sensational untold tales of the Tenth Doctor facing off against his greatest foes – both classic and new!”

Dan Slott – Writer for Marvel Comics and DC Comics – shows his Whovian side

Self-acknowledged fan of Doctor Who, Dan Slott lets his fanboy flag fly all over his Twitter. After his success on titles such as The Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Silver Surfer, and She-Hulk, he has a high bar to live up to. Slott’s story Arkham Asylum created an entirely new branch in well-loved IP Batman.

A fan favorite, he made huge dents in both DC and the Marvel Universe. Now, Who fans welcome him into the Whoniverse with open arms for a book. It’s “going to be awesome,” says Slott.

Slott launches the new adventures of Martha Jones featuring the fantastic Tenth Doctor in an upcoming Titan comic book coming in April. He’s known for creating original characters that fit right into a familiar setting.

Christopher Jones is his Partner in Ink

Christopher Jones has been with Titan since 2016 when he inked The Heralds of Destruction starring the Third Doctor. The Doctor’s style pairs wonderfully with this talented comic book artist’s, and fans can’t wait to see what Jones comes up with for Ten.

He’s also known for his work in Young Justice, Star Trek, and like Slott, has made a beautiful mark on Batman.

Cover by Adam Hughes

Titan recently gave a glimpse into the new issue with a cover art reveal by Adam Hughes. I love his use of color to create vibrancy and excitement. It’s like seeing old friends again.
