Will Ferrell and Jason Momoa To Play TV Father and Son In New Comedy

May 6, 2017

Jason Momoa wish to star in a comedy has come true as the Aquaman star will team up with comedy legend Will Ferrell in an untitled comedy pitch acquired by Paramount.

The plot will see Ferrell play a washed up TV star that reunites with his now grown and very successful TV shows son, played by Jason Momoa.

Writing duo Andy Mogel and Jarrad Paul, who created the short-lived Rob Lowe sitcom The Grinder are penning the script. Nick Stoller (Neighbours) and Gary Sanchez will produce.

Action star Momoa was quoted earlier this year saying he would love to star in a comedy during an interview with THR.

“I would love to do comedy, I can’t wait to be in a tracksuit in an office space, not covered in blood – and with my clothes on.”
