Will Joe Biden Make It Through His Whole Term?

Jun 24, 2021

As United States Pres. Joe Biden prepares to meet with South Korea’s president, Moon Jae-in, there are many out there who are believing that the U.S. President clearly does not have all of his faculties together.

This has been obvious to many, even during the Democratic primaries, where Biden had several gaffes and stumbles along the way. It seems apparent to many that his inability to remember key facts and his fabrication or misremembering of details are clear signs that the man sitting behind the desk at the White House does not have all of his faculties in place. It appears that he is, at best, struggling under the strain of the job while, at worst, in the throes of dementia, a serious issue for the person sitting in the most powerful position on the planet.

Harris Stepping In

This is not a new revelation by any stretch of the imagination. It appears that many within the Biden administration recognize the diminishing faculties of the president, and are doing all that they can to shield him.

One of the more prominent people filling that task is VP Kamala Harris. When the South Korean president arrived, it was not Biden who met the South Korean leader, but Harris. This was not only unusual, but is a serious breach of diplomatic protocol, and is demonstrating to many across the globe that the current president is not in any position to be running the country.

If this was an isolated incident, little would be said about it, but Harris was the one who spoke to the leaders of both Jordan and Japan about issues arising within their regions. These were tasks that the president should have fulfilled himself, but is clearly not up to the demands. Even Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin recognizes the failing mental capacity of the president, challenging him to an open debate that would be held life, something the president’s administration would never allow to happen.

It could also be that the Biden administration is doing all that they can to shield the president from saying or doing things that could embarrass the administration. By having Harris fill in for him, they are able to avert any major political gaffe or scene that could reflect badly on Biden and his administration.

Oddsmakers Are Taking Notice

While the U.S. news media is doing all that they can to shield this information from the country, people are noticing. No one is buying that the president is fully aware of what is going on.

This is true with many sportsbooks as well. Already, oddsmakers at places like USSportbonus.com are setting lines on whether Biden will complete his entire term. Truthfully, the odds are not good.

The likelihood of him not making it are already set at +115 (23/20), surprising considering that Biden is only four months into his first term. That sportsbooks and oddsmakers would already be recognizing the unlikelihood of him completing a term so short into his presidency is a clear indicator that something is amiss.

Oddsmakers are not speculating on what will be the reason for his departure. The president will turn 79 years old in November, and the potential for him passing away during his term is one possibility for the early departure. Sportsbooks are also recognizing that he may choose to step down, allowing Harris to take the reins as the president.

Oddsmakers do recognize that they expect him to last at least through his first year. Currently, he is a 7-to-1 favorite to make it through 2021, but the odds decline for 2022, dropping to 24-to-5. Oddsmakers are sure that Biden will not make it into a second term, as he is an 8-to-11 underdog to do so.

The Odds Are Against Him

It clearly seems apparent that only the U.S. news media are oblivious to the problems the current president is facing. Maybe they are turning a blind eye to the man they helped to reach this position, but it is becoming apparent that most recognize that Biden is unable to fully perform his duties and will likely leave before the 2025 inauguration.
