Jan 18, 2018

Ang Lee’s Gemini Man is getting closer to begin filming as the Will Smith starring science fiction actioner reportedly has recently added Clive Owen and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Henry, an aging government assassin is pursued by a younger assassin that just happens to be a clone of a younger version of himself. Owen will head up the cloning program while Winstead will play Henry’s fellow operative.

We have a new crew update to share.

Omega Underground has learned that stunt coordinator J.J. Perry has joined the production team. Perry’s credits include The Fate of The Furious, John Wick: Chapter 2, Expendables 3, and Spy.

Our previous reporting revealed that Ang Lee had hired Inception production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas (Blackhat, X-Men 2) for the film as well.

Gemini Man is expected to begin filming next month in locales such as Savannah, Budapest, and Cartagena shooting from February 26th until July 21st. But the start could get a delay due to scheduling.

Paramount has slated the film for release on October 4th, 2019.
