During a recent Netflix event in Paris Daredevil star Charlie Cox took the stage to answer journalist questions. Interestingly he revealed to The Independent that The Defenders which will see Hell’s Kitchens heroes Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) team-up series will start filming later this year. With a Fall 2017 release date.

Cox went onto reveal that he doesn’t know if Daredevil will get a third season. Considering season 2 was announced a week after the first season debuted. Many may be confused considering the ending of season two showed The Hand about to resurrect Elektra. This may actually be leading into The Defenders than season 3 of Daredevil. Lastly, this means the already announced season 2 of Jessica Jones will take place after The Defenders team-up. The real question on everyone’s mind is will Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher make a return?!
