‘Wonder Woman’ Crossing $800M Worldwide and $400M Domestically

Aug 13, 2017

Wonder Woman is looking like the first true hit for the DCEU.

The film has had overwhelming positive critical reactions and this has led to strong repeat business leading to some impressive box office numbers.

Wonder Woman is about to cross the $800 million mark with it’s worldwide earnings and has already crossed $400 million domestically.

Should be interesting to see how this success with reflects the future/size of Diana’s (Gal Gadot) role in the DCEU moving forward. It was recently reported by Forbes that she will have an important role in the Flash “solo” film which will adapt a version of the Flashpoint story.

Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns are said to be already developing the film’s sequel which was officially announced at the WB San Diego Comic-Con panel back in July. It’s been given the release date of December 13th, 2019.
