‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Begins Casting Extras For Summer Shoot In Montreal

May 22, 2017

Omega Underground previously confirmed that X-Men: Dark Phoenix (aka Teen Spirit) would begin shooting June 4th in Montreal, until October.

Our good friends and X-Men family, X-MenFilms has spotted the first casting call for extras via FBCasting Montreal.

American blockbuster shooting in Montreal this Summer. We are looking for people of all ages and various ethnicities with a particular physique (peculiar and unique features unusual faces, multi-ethnic, etc.) Paid work. Production is shooting July to October 2017 in Montreal, possibility of several shoot days in continuity.

Here’s the official casting call from FB Casting.

We can confirm that FB is handling extras as Julie Brenton is tackling it for them.

Kenyon/Wells Casting is handling the larger roles.

They’re mentioning a July start, but that likely isn’t referring to the actual production start but when extras are expected to begin working.

It’s expected that Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender will be returning. Although, nothing has been made official outside of the release date and title. Fox still hasn’t announced a director which is completely bizarre as the film begins shooting very very soon.

There’s also a chance that we might see a young version of Rogue (Marie) in the film due to an audition tape Omega Underground uncovered last month.

Dark Phoenix is set for release on November 2nd, 2018.

Omega Underground does not work for Fox casting, so click the link below to get the FBCasting application link if you’re looking to become an extra. If you send us resumes or headshots they will be deleted.
