When it was announced that Adam Driver would host this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, it was pretty much guaranteed that we would see one or two Star Wars jokes written in.
What was probably the best skit of the entire episode featured Kylo Ren going undercover on the Starkiller Base in a mock episode of Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base. The skit stars Adam Driver and two of SNL’s best and fellow geeks, Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan.
Don’t worry; this skit does not contain any movie spoilers.
In the skit, Driver’s Kylo Ren goes undercover as a radar technician named “Matt,” and he learns what his staff really think of him. Driver’s performance is the best part.
There were so many great lines, but my favorite one has to be “Kylo Ren’s a punk bitch.” Driver’s reaction afterward was gold!
Hmm . . . I wonder if this is “canon.”
