What is Loot Crate?
Loot Crate is a monthly mystery subscription box catered to Geeks and Fans of pop culture. Inside each box includes awesome and often exclusive items such as collectibles, t-shirts, toys and more. The shirt couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. It features Negan and his trusty lady, Lucille. Above his image, reads “Negan Sluggers”. For some folks, this may be a “too soon” moment as the season premiere and his debut on the show still haunts us. It’s a great shirt and super comfortable. I won’t spoil who Negan’s victims are for you, but if you haven’t watched it yet, you’re missing out.
The Freddy Krueger chopsticks were a bit difficult for me to maneuver, but I’m just terrible at using chopsticks. I’ve never heard of anyone combining Freddy Frueger and chipsticks together before but I thought it was pretty clever. Krueger’s claws are the sticks, get it?
I always enjoy seeing Loot Crate work with one of the coolest toy vinyl companies, Kid Robot. This month’s box featured a Phunny plush of Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Leave it to these guys to make a monster like this into an adorable plush form.
Also included, was a Camp Crystal Lake Pennant. This is the camp featured in Friday the 13th.
The Legion of Regrettable Supervillains Book is exactly as the title suggests. The book is written by Jon Morris as he preents over a hundred of the weirdest, most ridiculous supervillains to have been featured in comics. It’s actually pretty hilarious.
The pin this month’s features Michael Myers of the Halloween franchise.
For those in love with the horror genre, this crate is just for you. Although, it’s not my favorite Loot Crate box, it did feature a variety of entertaining items. The best item included was the Negan shirt, as I’m a huge Walking Dead fan.
