Thor: Ragnarok Mockumentary, originally shown at Comic-Con, Officially Released Online

Aug 29, 2016

One of the more talked about moments during Marvel’s Hall H panel during San Diego Comic Con, was the Thor Mockumentary directed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. The video shows what Thor was up to during the events of Civil War. 12

In the video, Thor states he is taking a break and “needed some me time” as he has moved to Australia and even has a roommate.  Thorwrites both Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers emails, contemplates who is the purple man in the floating chair, and also discusses with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) about the recent feud among the Avengers.

“Dear Tony Stark, How’s it going? I heard you and Captain America were having some relationship problems.”

Although this isn’t canon, it’s still a funny representation of how Thor spends his down time. I think this is a brilliant idea, canon or not, I would love to see more comedic and mockumentary style videos with characters from the MCU.

We’ll have to wait for Thor: Ragnarok to hit theaters November 3rd, 2017 to see how he and Banner really spent their time during the events of Civil War. Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and Jeff Goldblum.
