One thing DC has been good in keeping secret is their villains. This may come after fan backlash ensued after they released a trailer that had Doomsday appear in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well after Justice League finished filming we finally learned Ciaran Hinds would be playing Steppenwolf.
Now after last night’s pre-screening for Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman the guys over at Batman-News got word that actor David Thewlis would be playing the villain of Ares: God of War. This comes after Ares was long rumored for the movie when Sean Bean was rumored for the role. The site goes on to reveal that the character will be a mixture of CGI and practical effects much like Steppenwolf.
