Last week we at Omega Underground got exclusive word that Blu Hunt (The Originals) was being eye’d for the role of Danielle Moonstar aka Mirage in Josh Boone’s X-Men: New Mutants. Now today The Hollywood Reporter confirmed our original story that after an extensive search Hunt has indeed signed onto star in the film.
She joins Anya Taylor-Joy (Split) as Magik, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Sunspot and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Cannonball. As you notice most of the cast are actually TV stars who are making their first appearance in a feature film.
