Last week, Omega Underground uncovered an Avengers 4 casting call for a female stand-in with “short hair” for the filming of a scene which lined-up with the Japan set sequences we previously reported on. We felt confident this stand-in was for Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow, and it looks like this has been confirmed.
Both E! and AtlantaFilming have backed up our claims as Johansson was indeed spotted on set (also with Jeremy Renner as well) in Atlanta at the Japan mock-up.
So far only Jeremy, Black Widow and two bad guys have been in set. One bad guy tou know… one you dont.

Here’s a photo E! posted of Scarlett on set.
Here are a couple more from Twitter.

AtlantaFilming had also backed up the Japanese sequence twice, the second time with hard photographic proof of the Japanese sets in Atlanta. Confirming our previous reporting that the film could spend some time there.
The second image in this IG post confirms the Japan night shoot we originally reported on.
Interesting enough, Renner’s Clint Barton has the second alter ego of Ronin (a Japanese term that refers to a masterless samurai) in New Avengers and Secret Invasion. Could he be dropping the Hawkeye thing to become Ronin instead? This could explain the Japan location and why they asked some of the Japanese extras to wear facial prosthetics (Skrulls?).
Here’s Renner taking a photo with a fan at Six Flags, Atlanta on Sunday.
Avengers 4 will be released in May 2019.
