A small production update on Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (working title Boss) as we’ve learned the film will begin shooting on June 18th in Los Angeles.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is set during the summer of 1969 in LA with Leonardo DiCaprio playing an aging TV star looking to make a break into films along with his stunt double played by Brad Pitt. His neighbor just happens to be actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), one of the victims of the brutal Manson Family murders.
Hollywood is said to be similar to Pulp Fiction.
We previously reported that Oscar-winning cinematographer Richard Robertson will again reunite with Tarantino for the film.
It’s also expected to wrap filming sometime in November.
Sony has slated the film’s release for August 9th, 2019.
