It was only confirmed a couple days ago that Joaquin Phoenix would play the Joker in Todd Phillips’ standalone film and we now have another actor in the mix.
THR reports that Deadpool 2 and Atlanta actress Zazie Beetz is now in talks for a role in the DC movie.
Robert De Niro had also been previously linked but not confirmed as of yet.
As we reported filming is set to begin this September in NYC.
Warner Bros. just gave the film the release date of October 4th, 2019.
