UPDATE: Scott Cooper’s ‘Antlers’ Produced By Guillermo del Toro Shoots October-November In Vancouver

Aug 13, 2018

It was recently reported that Keri Russell was in talks to star in Scott Cooper‘s (Black Mass, Hostiles, Out of The Furnace) next film Antlers, which is produced by Guillermo del Toro and setup at Fox Searchlight. It remains to be seen if Russell will end up too busy for the film as Star Wars: Episode IX only just kicked-off production.

A young teacher discovers that her troubled student’s father and younger brother harbor a deadly supernatural secret. Taking the boy into her care, the teacher must fight for their survival against horrors beyond imagination.

Omega Underground has learned filming is now set to begin on October 1st in Vancouver and will wrap on November 20th.

We previously reported Cooper would be reuniting with another cinematographer but instead has landed on The Terror’s Florian Hoffmeister as a crew update suggests (things can change during the pre-production process) and can now add that You Were Never Really There production designer Tim Grimes has also joined the film.

Fox has yet to give Antlers an official release date.
