‘Kraven’ Screenwriter Says Movie Will Be Inspired By ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ and Features Spider-Man

Oct 9, 2018

In a joint-interview with DiscussingFilm and HybridNetwork screenwriter Richard Wenk has revealed some new details about his upcoming Kraven The Hunter movie.

First, he’ll be using Kraven’s Last Hunt as inspiration for the solo film and also that Spider-Man will be featured in the movie.

Frustrated with his repeated failed attempts at killing Spider-Man, Kraven the Hunter hatches a final plot to best his adversary, shooting and burying him alive. With his enemy out of the way, Kraven dons a Spider-Man costume and patrols the city, intent on proving himself a better hero. The real Spider-Man soon awakens and hunts the Hunter!

This could make sense as this could pull Kraven into the MCU, that’s if they’re using Tom Holland’s version of Spidey. Even more so if Ryan Coogler is asking to use the character for his Black Panther sequel after revealing in interviews he wanted to use Kraven in the first movie.

Sony has yet to announce either a release date or a director for Kraven.
