Guy Ritchie’s ‘Toff Guys’ Adds Matthew McConaughey, Kate Beckinsale, and Henry Golding – Our Report of Fall Shoot In UK Confirmed

Oct 10, 2018

Guy Ritchie is trying recapture previous success by returning to his roots tackling the crime genre with Toff Guys. Now, there is word from Variety that he’s assembling a fantastic cast which will include Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey, Kate Beckinsale, and Crazy Rich Asians breakout newcomer Henry Golding.

The story explores the collision between European “old money” and the modern marijuana industry. It follows a British drug lord attempting to cash out on his highly profitable empire by selling it off to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires.

The report also confirms Omega Underground’s own production info that Toff Guys would begin filming this fall in the United Kingdom (we heard October but could be pushed to November).

We previously mentioned that Aladdin cinematographer Alan Stewart would be reuniting with Ritchie on the film.

So much for that rumor circling that Ritchie was looking to begin casting for a Marvel Studios movie this fall.

A release date has yet to be announced for Toff Guys.
