Deadline reports that Snowfall actor Sergio Peris-Mencheta has landed the part of Mexican cartel leader Hugo Martinez, the big bad who kidnaps Gabrielle (Yvette Monreal) for their sex trafficking operation.
The final big role to be cast is Hugo’s brother Victor.
Omega Underground first reported that Get The Gringo and Narcos director Adrian Grunberg would be tackling the sequel.
Paz Vega was recently cast as the co-lead Carmen Delgado, a reporter/ex-soldier that helps Rambo take down the cartel and find Gabrielle.
Filming on Last Blood is currently underway in Sofia, Bulgaria.
A release date has yet to be announced.
